Volunteers play a vital role within NAViGO by offering a variety of support across all of our service areas alongside our staff members.
Volunteering can help people gain new skills and experience and, for some, can provide a stepping stone to paid employment. It looks fantastic on a CV and can help those looking for direction in their career to try something they’re interested but not qualified in.
We can offer volunteering placements within infrastructure, as healthcare assistants as well as support workers. We also look at what skills you can offer as an individual so you can input what you enjoy most into volunteering. We have beauty therapists on our wards as well as volunteers involved in craft and dance groups.
