NAViGO’S National Mental Health Conference takes place in March, with a number of leading professionals from the world of psychiatry descending on North East Lincolnshire. Among the speakers at the event will be Professor Tim Kendall.
Professor Kendall will attend day two of the NAViGO National Mental Health Conference on Thursday 28 March. He’ll reflect on his sizeable experience to deliver the opening address on the second day of the event, which is on the subject of Transformational Excellence through Joint Working in the fields of psychiatry and clinical psychology.
Now NHS England’s National Clinical Director for Mental Health, Professor Kendall has many years of experience in psychiatry. He also filled the role of Director at the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health at the Royal College of Psychiatrists for 15 years.
As a Medical Director, Professor Kendall was responsible for a number of successes including the modernisation of the acute and crisis care pathways. He continues to work as a Consultant Psychiatrist for the homeless at Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust alongside his role at NHS England.
Professor Kendall is just one of a number of mental health professionals on an intriguing agenda at the NAViGO National Mental Health Conference in March.
