Ramsden International make Rharian Fields donationBradley King
Ramsden International have made a generous donation of £250 to NAViGO’s specialist eating disorder service Rharian Fields through their Making A Difference Locally initiative.
The donation will allow Rharian to continue to offer first-class care and support to service users suffering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorders and Eating Disorders Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS).
“Thank you to Ramsden International for their donation,” said Carrie Morwood, Clinical Lead at Rharian Fields.
“We are in the process of moving into new premises later this year which we are all very excited about.
“Most staff on the unit are able to offer complementary therapies to our service users, so the money will be put towards buying new items and equipment for the new complimentary therapy room to further enhance the care that we provide for our service users.”
The donation comes at the start of Eating Disorders Awareness Week, which takes place between 25 February and 3 March. The week aims to tackle the stigma surrounding eating disorders and insists that everyone affected by them receives support – regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, sexuality or background.
