NEXUS - SHAPING THE FUTURE OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
NEXUS is a new venture in North East Lincolnshire where we aim to give 16 – 21 year olds a voice about their mental health and the services we provide. NAViGO is working together in partnership with a number of agencies such as Franklin College, Humberside Police, YPSS, YMCA and Ignite to help create a safe place for young people to gain advice and support about the services that are available to them.
We want to make mental health something that can be openly discussed and remove the stigma attached to asking for help and support. We will use the forum to not only help young people but also improve how we interact with young people and shape our services for the better.
NEXUS welcomes all young people between the ages of 16 – 21 years to attend.
NEXUS will provide a safe space to offer advice and support on what services are available locally to support young people.
Our next meeting will take place on the 13th August
6pm at YMCA Foyer, Grimsby
