Workplace Wellbeing

Every organisation needs happy and motivated employees who feel supported and valued.

Investing in workplace wellbeing can increase productivity, boost morale, strengthen teamwork, enhance customer service, reduce absence, improve staff retention – and so benefit your bottom line.

NAViGO Health and Social Care can help you look after your workforce.

We have a wealth of wellbeing know-how – drawing on our expertise as an award-winning social enterprise providing NHS mental health services across North East Lincolnshire.

This means that our support for employers large and small draws directly from our daily experiences in front line care – and we practice what we preach! All the services we offer have proved successful in helping to improve the wellbeing of our own staff.

We offer a wide range of support to suit your needs – from workplace massage and mindfulness sessions, to dentistry and major wellbeing events.

We also provide specialist training in mental health first aid, enabling you to identify issues in your workplace, raise awareness and support your colleagues.

In the UK:

  • More than 500,000 people have work related stress, depression or anxiety
  • 12.5 million working days were lost in 2016/17
  • 1 in 3 people will experience a mental health issue in the coming year
  • 1 in 5 will take a day off work due to stress (often without giving the true reason)

Client Testimonials

"The work being done is amazing, dealing with all different levels of roles from production operatives through to senior managers. The issues covered range from anxiety through to suicidal thoughts, alcohol and drug issues."
"Mental health issues are a key cause of long absences, but there’s been a significant reduction in staff going off sick. We are catching more people beforehand and keeping them at work. We currently have 17 mental health first aiders doing amazing work and managers identifying individuals who need help."
"Since being trained as a Mental Health First Aider, I have supported a number of employees with anxiety, stress and depression. People are becoming more open and engaging in discussions around mental health and wellbeing. As an employer, this helps us to support people to become and stay mentally healthy, or to cope with family members who have a mental health disorder."

Just as with physical health, it’s essential to recognise that we have varying degrees of mental health. This training looks into key issues around work-related mental health.
